About Us

Fish Creek Excavating has been providing Calgary and area with outstanding service since 1961. The company began in the excavating business with two loaders digging residential basements. Over the years, the company has evolved, expanding into commercial, multi-family and civil excavation projects with detailed earthworks being our specialty. The company has played an important role in the construction of many large projects throughout the Calgary area.

In 1983, the company diversified into the construction materials business with expansion into the limestone quarry business in Nordegg. Further diversification occurred in 1994, with the purchase of a crusher to pioneer the recycling of concrete and asphalt in Alberta. Finally, in 2002, the company expanded the stone products materials business into west central Alberta with a hard rock quarry in Prairie Creek.

Today, the company is well established in the markets that it operates, supported by a fleet of yellow iron, trucking and crushing equipment. But Fish Creek is more than just equipment. Our success has been driven by dedicated employees whose pride of ownership is evident as they work towards exceeding clients expectations.
